Happy 4 Months Baby Grayson!
I know I'm late with this entry. The truth is, I'm just busy being a mom. My life has changed so much in the past 4 months. I'm no expert, but I think I have this mommy thing down.
I really do love this stage. He is all smiles, laughs, coos, and squeals. He is very interactive, which is so much fun. We went to the doctor Monday for his 4 month checkup. Obviously, Grayson is on the hefty side. He is off the charts in weight, weight to length, and he's got a big head. More to love right?
The big thing I was looking forward to was the green light to start introducing solid foods.
I actually started a few weeks ago with Rice. He LOVES it!
I can't wait to start introducing vegetables this week. I'm going to try and make my own baby food. It's way cheaper and I feel good about giving him fresh veggies. Maybe this will help David and I eat more veggies too. :)
Grayson has been drooling like crazy for weeks. I think he's teething....or turning into a pug. I have tried that teething necklace that so many of my friends swear by. I really don't notice a difference at all. I wish I did. I wanted that thing to work so bad. I hate that he's hurting.
In other news, Grayson got to visit his girlfriend, Noel, yesterday.
Noel is 7 months old. Grayson likes the older women!
When Grayson was first born, I thought his great grandma would never get to meet him. Her health was declining fast. We have been so blessed to have her in our lives this long. She's 91 years old! Grayson has got to spend a lot of time with her.
He LOVES spending time with his Grandmas. I just love this pic of them spoiling him with attention.
And this is what happens when my parents watch him.
Grayson is still not a fan of his Daddy's kisses.
I love it!
We have enjoyed our summer. I'm sad to see it come to an end. We've spent many family days swimming, playing, and just enjoying each other.
Thank you God for this blessing!
