Size: Grayson is wearing size 2 diapers now, such a big
boy! I struggled with packing away his newborn size clothes. I'm
struggling even more packing away size 0-3 months. That's right, our
little porker is wearing 3-6 months. I'm not sure about his length and weight.
He has another appointment with the doctor soon.
Favorite Things: Flirting! He loves to flirt. He
can win over a crowd in seconds
Grayson LOVES bath time! He acts like it's a day at
the spa. So relaxing! I love the way he smells after a nice bath,
coated in lotion! Grandma gives him a bath almost every day. I'm
convinced that she must have done with me, resulting in my super dry skin.
Thank Mom! :)
He loves his kick and play piano! This is his favorite
wake time activity!
David enjoyed his first Father's Day! We went with my
family to Bayville Park. I took Grayson on the swing and he immediately
fell sleep. By the way, I love the Baby Bjorn. It's a great way to
travel with him. He was a champ all day at the park!
What we’ve
learned: We have learned to have patience. It’s amazing how hard
the first month seemed. There were some days that we were ready to return
him for a refund. We have learned that he can sense our frustration.
Slow down and enjoy it! We’ve also learned to be incredibly selfless.
Everything we do is with Grayson in mind!
What we’re enjoying
right now: Smiles! The smiles are addictive. Morning time
is the best. He seems to be the happiest first thing in the
morning....after his meal of course. He smiles ear to ear in the morning!
He has also started to coo. We love interacting with him. We
are also enjoying more sleep! Praise God for a good sleeper!
Grayson has slept about 7 hours a night consistently since week 4.
One night, he gave us 8.5 hours straight. He must get those mad
sleeping skills from his mama. I love sleep!
What our biggest struggles are: I wouldn't say we're
struggling with anything. We haven't mastered parenting by any means, but
we're adjusting just fine.
What we’re not looking forward to: Grayson gets his
first round of shots soon. I am not excited about this at all.
David will have to hold MY hand through it!
What we’re looking forward to: Laughs! David and
my mom have heard him laugh. It made me sick that I missed it.
2 months overall = awesomeness!
We have figured out your cries and how to fix them.
You are on a great schedule.
