36 Weeks

36 weeks and completely over it.

Pregnancy was very cute and exciting at first, but I'm just ready to get on with it.  My feet and legs have NEVER been so swollen.  It looks like I've been stung by a bee.  

Happier news...the baby's room is COMPLETE!  Hallelujah!

It's not exactly the way I want it yet.  No decorations or bedding yet, but everything has been ordered and should be here soon.

I've been teaching voice lessons out of my new studio for 2 weeks.  My students love it!  Again, I know I need to hang some things on the wall.  I haven't used the recording booth yet, but I'm hoping to next week.  It's so pretty!  

A few of my 6th grade choir girls decided to throw me a surprise baby shower last week.  It was so sweet.  They did it all by themselves.  They decorated my music room, provided favors, and even bough baby Grayson a gift.  Such a sweet group of girls!

34 Weeks

I'm almost there!  

I am over being pregnant at this point.  Since my last post, I've struggled a lot with back pain.  The baby turned and his head is on my sciatic nerve.  It sends shooting pain down my leg, making it really difficult to walk.  I've had to switch classrooms at school because of this.  It's really hard to climb the stairs everyday so I was put in a classroom with not only an elevator, but a RESTROOM! Thank you God!  

So the baby is all ready to come into this world.  I have to keep him baking for at least 2 more weeks to be on the safe side.  The nursery is almost put together.  I have started teaching voice from my new studio room.  It's beautiful.  The nursery has been painted and wainscoting installed.  David will be working on trim tonight and touch up paint.  I'm hoping to put up the crib and dresser by the weekend.

Baby Grayson has been SHOWERED with gifts and love!  Fellowship Baptist Church, my parents church and the church I grew up in, threw me a BEAUTIFUL shower last week.  It was amazing!

I have been leading worship at The Lampstand in Newport News for just a month now.  I was supposed to have a meeting with the pastor last Sunday after church, but they threw me a surprise shower instead. 

We are truly blessed with wonderful friends and family!
