3 Months Old

Grayson is 3 months old today!  1/4 of a year already!

I know that hat is ridiculous! I can't help it!

He is such a a happy baby...now!  If you smile at him, he will smile right back.  Boom! Heart explosion!  And then he turns on the charm with his sweet laugh! 

During those tough early weeks of crying and frustration, a friend of mine told me about the magical 3 month mark.  I can’t pinpoint exactly when it happened, but now I know what she meant.  Grayson has gone from a high maintenance little newborn, to a pretty predictable happy baby.

I'm not gonna lie though, he has his moments.  

So my baby is a heavy weight champion.  At his 2 month checkup, he weighed 17 lbs, 2 oz, and was 25 inches.  He is wearing 6-9 month size now.  
My boy is not a fragile little newborn anymore.  People are shocked when they find out how old he is...formula-fed baby. 

Everyday he gets bigger, stronger, and louder!

I took him to Chik-Fil-A for Cow Appreciation Day.  It was really an excuse to dress him up and get some free chicken.  He wouldn't smile at all.  I think he was embarrassed.

He LOVES the Evenflo Exersaucer.  Mommy and Daddy love it too!  
It gives us a break for a few minutes!

Grayson is still an awesome sleeper.  Thank you God!  He slept til 9am a few days ago.  You would have thought we won the lottery!  We usually put him down around 10:30pm.  I don't think we're going to be able to put him down any earlier until he eating some rice cereal.  He's just too hungry.  That big baby body takes work! 

He LOVES swimming.  He has been to the beach a few times, but going to our neighbor's pool is SO much easier. 

We love his developing personality.  I have to admit, we have fun at his expense sometimes.  David's facial hair irritates Grayson, especially if he's fussy or hungry.  So of course, David gives him extra kisses during those times.
